Michael Staisil Knows that Helping Others Is Good for Community and the Self

Communities around the country rely on the help and support of upstanding citizens. Every community has unique challenges and problems that it confronts. Fortunately, there are national and state-wide organizations and non-profit companies that do a great deal of work in communities across the country. Still, they are not always adequately funded and since the financial crisis from a few years ago, the demands on organizations that help the needy and unfortunate have become excessive.

Michael Staisil learned from an early age the importance of helping no matter to what extent.  He has tried to remember that for his entire life, and he actively helps out in his community.  One of the organizations he supports are those which deal with homelessness in communities.  Michael Staisil has mobilized people on a regular basis to help these organizations as he knows how effective they can be at helping the homeless get the necessities they need to help them get off of the streets. The shelters he supports are vital for that effort.

Furthermore, Michael Staisil has been involved as a volunteer and as a funder with Big Brothers/Big Sisters. He knows how important a good individual can be for young people as they grow up. Sometimes they have no good role models, and BB/BS helps to provide a good role model to those in need. Additionally, Michael Staisil supports Habitat for Humanity. This wonderful organization helps the needy get homes with the help of volunteer labor. Habitat has been around for decades and has helped thousands in the US and the world.

Michael Staisil recommends that everyone should help in some way. If that happens, our communities will get even stronger and people will feel better about the contributions they make as individuals.  Two great organizations to get started helping with are the Red Cross and Team Rubicon.
