Michael Staisil Understands the Importance of Investing for the Future

When studying business, people often come to understand the importance of investing. Some people take their business career entirely into the field of investing and make their living helping others invest. Others simply take the knowledge of investing they learn in their studies to help themselves and their families prepare for the future.

Michael Staisil did not focus heavily on investment during his studies at Michigan State University, where he also played football. He earned a degree in business management, and began working with the Ford Motor Company soon after graduating. There he realized that there was a great deal more he could learn by continuing his education.

Understanding that, he earned his MBA from the Harvard Business School. The MBA program at Harvard is well-respected and it gave him the knowledge and skills he needed to begin exploring more advanced areas of the business world. He began working for banks and then investment and securities companies. Michael Staisil learned a great, and quickly.

He realized that investment is a vital part of business and it should be a vital part of everyone's financial strategy. With the right investments, a person can make their retirement years a much more enjoyable and financially secure time of their life. With the economic recession in the past few years, many people lost a great deal of their savings due to poor choices or bad investments. Michael Staisil knows that with the right advisor people can make investments to help them recover the losses they experience during the recession.

Michael Staisil has been teaching his children the importance of investing once they are working full time in their careers. He wants them to be as financially secure as possible, and a large part of that is having a flexible and varied investment portfolio and having a plan to continue to add to it.

Michael Staisil Has Strong Business Experience

The world of business is a vast and complicated one. There are so many facets to working in business that it is impossible to be good at everything related to business. The brain just isn't big enough to handle all of that information. There are a wide variety of business programs out there in schools and universities, and one of the most common is the MBA.

Michael Staisil had an outstanding business background due to his business management degree from Michigan State University. He learned a great deal from working at Ford Motor Company as well. While there, he completed their Executive Management Training Program which took three years of intense hands-on education.

After that he earned his MBA from the prestigious Harvard Business School. From there his career really took off and he has been able to explore many areas of the business world. He first went into banking at Montgomery Securities, which was a leading investment bank for numerous high growth corporations. This gave him a strong background in investment, financial services, tech and software, as well as many other areas of business.

Since then, he has worked at a variety of consulting companies like Deloitte Consulting Group. His expertise and knowledge had become honed enough that he served as a consultant for complicated business plans and financial activities of large companies. His performance proved very successful and he eventually took his skills and started his own private equity, real estate, and investment firm.

Now that he's his own boss, he has many new challenges that he has gladly taken on. He is working globally and his firm has bosses in a variety of locations, even some in the UK. He looks forward to growing his firm in the future and eventually retiring to spend more time with his beloved family.

Work of Big Brothers/Big Sisters Respected by Michael Staisil

There are a wide variety of organizations in the US that are focused on helping others. Some of them, like the Red Cross and the United Way are involved in addressing the needy in a variety of ways, on a relatively massive national scale. They do work locally as well, and Michael Staisil thinks they do amazing work. But, there are other organizations that operate nationally but work on the individual level to make people better.

One such organization is Big Brothers / Big Sisters. Big Brothers / Big Sisters was founded in 1904 in New York City. Their main goal is to help boys and girls in the US to have a mentor and role model to look up to. By having a positive role model, these kids can ultimately have a better chance at becoming as intelligent and successful as they can. Some young people, especially in urban areas, are in dire need of good role models. Michael Staisil is happy that Big Brothers / Big Sisters gives those kids the opportunity to have someone looking out for the best interest of their little brother or little sister.

Part of the reason that Michael Staisil believes in BB/BS is the fact that there have been studies conducted showing the impact a Big Brother or Big Sister can have on children in the US. They are much less likely to use drugs, alcohol, skip school, hit people, or skip class. That's a proven result that Michael Staisil is happy to support.

All it takes is a minor commitment for volunteers and supporters to make a difference with Big Brothers / Big Sisters. Michael Staisil encourages good people he knows to consider signing up to be a volunteer. It can change not only a young person's life, but your life as well.

Education Always a Priority for Michael Staisil

One of the most important challenges facing the US in the future is its education system. There have been a lot of problems in the past ten or twenty years in the education field in the US. Public schools have not been performing well, especially those in urban areas. Michael Staisil thinks this is a tragedy. He benefited from a strong education system when he was growing up, and he feels terrible that young kids today are not getting the advantages he had which propelled him to a happy life and a great career in business.

For Michael Staisil, education turned out to be the key to his future. After he finished high school, he decided to play football and study for a degree in business management from the Michigan State University. Sports and education helped him get his start in business and he made sure to always focus on his academics over his sports. This paid off immensely.

Soon after graduating from Michigan State University, he began working at Ford Motor Company in their finance and operations divisions worldwide. The work was excellent and he was able to learn a lot about the practical aspects of his field. Still, Michael Staisil felt like he needed more education to help him be an even more effective businessman.

With those ends in mind, Michael Staisil applied and was accepted into the MBA program at the Harvard Business School. Harvard is one of the most respected schools in the world for business and other fields. Michael Staisil has relied on the knowledge, skills, and connections he made while earning his MBA to be successful throughout his business career.

Education played a big role in Michael Staisil's success. He tries to give back to the educational community by speaking at events and alumni meetings whenever he can. It's a small way to help spread the importance of knowledge to life and careers.
